Courtesy

You know with all the fast paced hustle and bustle, it seems that courtesy, as with many other important things is becoming a thing of the past. This is especially true in trucking.

Nearly gone are the days when one trucker would dim his lights to let another driver who may have passed him know that it was safe to come over in front of him. Or if a driver passed by a speed cop, he would either flash his lights, or get on the”CB” radio to warn oncoming traffic. This gives meaning to the old saying: “Don’t feed the bears!

Be kind enough not to block driveways when stopped at a signal light. It’s okay to tap your horn at someone in front of you who may not have seen the light turn green. We’ve all been guilty! But laying on the horn is a sure sign of hostility.

Remember that  we’re human, and that from time to time we all need patience and understanding. Pay it forward!!
